Post every day in April, except Sundays, making your topic start with the alphabet letter that day falls on. So we all know the first starts with A so my first post is... A is for Adventure This word sums up my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am a very proud Mother of five amazing children, and I have been blessed with four beautiful Grandchildren. My kids are grown and three serve our great Military so I don't get a lot of time with them, but when we get together it is a time of very little sleep, and non stop fun.  I also have a very busy day job as an Ultrasound Tech for a Cardiology Group. After my day job, evening c...

Venturing Down a Path I've never taken.

I have been very busy this month. I added another Granddaughter, Realynn Michelle, and was offered a contract for my Young Adult, If I Knew Then. Both are wins in my book. Every writer knows that life can truly get in the way of our time to write, and mine truly did, but I decided to cut back on some things so I could get a few stories written, so I gave up a few hours of sleep each night and it paid off.  I published my first story, Saving Angel in October 2012, then Rescued From the Dark, February 2013.  A short story, The Christmas Contract, in December 2013 and now my new contract from Black Opal Books for my Young Adult. Now I’m sure your asking yourself, what does all this have to do with taking a new path. As you can see by my book titles I've written different genres. My first story, Saving Angel, is an animal rescue, Mystery, Suspense. Rescued from the Dark is a Romantic Suspense. The Christmas Contract, is a contemporary and, If I Knew Then, is a Youn...

March is rolling in like a Lion thanks to old Man Winter.

Can you feel that chill? I can .  Old Man Winter has overstayed his welcome but he didn't put a damper on my big Birthday Celebration. It was hard to pick just a few winners with everyone who stopped by all the wonderful blogs that helped me pull off an amazing Birthday Party. But I did and here they are: The Winner of the Big Sweetheart Basket is Mary Zenger and  The Winner of the Autographed Book is  J C Mealet. I want to Thank Everyone for this amazing year that I had. My first book will always be a special memory, but it won't be my last. I have many more stories to be told, and many more parties to throw. I love my loyal fans and readers so I will end this post with a little hint to what will come in the very near future. My Young Adult, If I Knew Then: Angel O'Hare suffers years of abuse at the hand of her alcoholic mother so she lives a lie, leaving her emotionally closed off to keep her sisters safe, until Jax enters her life. His lo...
