I have been very busy this month. I added another Granddaughter, Realynn Michelle, and was offered a contract for my Young Adult, If I Knew Then. Both are wins in my book. Every writer knows that life can truly get in the way of our time to write, and mine truly did, but I decided to cut back on some things so I could get a few stories written, so I gave up a few hours of sleep each night and it paid off.  I published my first story, Saving Angel in October 2012, then Rescued From the Dark, February 2013.  A short story, The Christmas Contract, in December 2013 and now my new contract from Black Opal Books for my Young Adult. Now I’m sure your asking yourself, what does all this have to do with taking a new path. As you can see by my book titles I've written different genres. Can you feel that chill? I can .  Old Man Winter has overstayed his welcome but he didn't put a damper on my big Birthday Celebration. It was hard to pick just a few winners with everyone who stopped by all the wonderful blogs that helped me pull off an amazing Birthday Party.
