Kindle or book?

Kindle or book?   I will always need both. Will you?      I’ve always been an avid reader. I was never without a book and would read whenever I could. I even have a library of books on CD for long car trips. I love the smell of a book store and the feel of the paper on my fingers as I turned each page. Then I got my kindle and my book shelves got dusty and I had no reason to stop at our local bookstores, or so I thought.      E-readers are amazing. They hold hundreds of books, magazines and newspapers. They fit in your purse and you can buy a new book with just one click. So what's the downfall?   I can’t think of any, can you?   With today’s technology you can turn anything into an e-reader. Your PC, Smartphone, iPod and so on, so what keeps the bookstores thriving?      I know you’re saying to yourself, not everyone has an e-reader. Hi all, Char Chaffin here, thrilled to be spending time with Lynda Frazier! You know, when I read her blog’s title, I couldn’t help thinking it fit my latest release, Unsafe Haven , to a tee: “Romance with Suspense, Secrets and Sizzling Sunsets.” In a tiny little nutshell, that’s my book! And there’s the ‘Suspense.’ As for ‘Sizzling Sunsets,’ it’s summer in Alaska, which means the sunsets sure can

My intent ions to stay on track are great or that’s what I like to tell myself. Time management is a balance. A precise schedule that holds everything together. But there are days when no matter what I did nothing worked out and these days would run into weeks. I had to find out what was robbing me of my time so I made a list. What took up time in my day. Work, eating, cleaning, feeding animals, laundry, e-mail, blogs and sleep. By the time I got home, cleaned up, ate and worked on e-mails I was exhausted. In my head I had hours during the day to write. Why wasn’t it working out in my real life? I found an article and it talked about writing out a time log. Spend a few days and jot down everything you do.   It worked out great and showed me how I was wasting so much time.   So I decided to share. Preparing and writing your time log You don't need to keep writing a time log permanently. It is sufficient to do it for 3-7 days.   When you write a time log, make sure y
